Admittedly I've been a longtime holdout to the adoption of mesh within Second Life...in part because of my fear that Lindens would use mesh as a method to extract more money from our pockets-and as well that the use of mesh would strain the resources of SL's infrastructure.

I was so very wrong.

Over the last 2 months *GEL* has seen the future and it is filled with a mesh enabled rich texturing haze.

We've rebuilt the store as a mesh store.

In the previous post I alluded to the fact that *GEL* has now expanded to include a whole range of activities encompassed within a single SIM--likeminded individuals who wish to have a place to call home; a place to relax among friends with all the amenities one might wish within easy reach.

After a few mis-starts on this particular post waiting for others to write it for me, I decided to take matters into my own hands and post some pictures as well as describe in a bit more detail all of the various events and advantages the *GEL* sim has to offer.

In building*GEL* it was my intent to offer a refuge for all to enjoy-come check it out!

Sites to See

The central focus for the *GEL* sim is the store complex; The complex includes:

1) The Bondage by *GEL* store- a warehouse housing over 100 products we sell for roleplay and bondage play.

2) Black Wolf Saloon- Peace Mistwalker has built a BEAUTIFUL saloon hosting rock and roll events and dancing during the day. Many of the events are sponsored by vendors and there is ALWAYS money on the board! Its a rocking good time--come check it out.

3) Hailey's Gear! An eclectic mix of fashions from naughty to casual. All new and all original. Dress for the occasion then come dance next door at the Saloon!





In addition to the mall area the Sim offers a number of areas for community use:

4) The Community Dungeon- Why pay for play, or purchase your own equipment when we have a community dungeon on the grounds! Over 40 different device spread across 3 different theme rooms (Gorean, Medieval, Victorian) are just a teleport away and available for use by all Sim residents!

5) The Community Park-A small park set aside for use by all residents. Cuddle spots, shade trees and waterfalls provide a restful setting for anyone who wants to escape or spend a few minutes of peace reflecting by themselves or with a special someone.

Living arrangementa
*GEL* Offers 12 different seaside rental plots-each 937 prims, as well as 3 skyboxes for those who want to live at *GEL* and desire a bit more seclusion. Plots and skyboxes are priced very competitively; our main desire is to setup a place for all to enjoy.

A new beginning

In August of 2012, *GEL* started on a new path. What had started as a fun sideline was turning into a serious enterprise.....and some decisions had to be made as to whether to continue to build new products and pursue what our clients were asking for or to step aside.

After considerable thought and consideration, (not to mention the thought of having more toys with which to play), the *GEL* brand has been relaunched and set on a new path.

In addition to changes to the logo change, as our mission statement and commitment I've adopted a single approach to how I do business; a philosophy that has served me through over 35 years in professional life:

Excellent Product; Fair Prices; Treat Customers like family--Its that Simple.

Over the last 6 months, *GEL* has redeveloped and rewritten every single product in our line; *GEL* now has over 90 products ranging from personal RLV devices (blindfolds, shackles, gags, yokes, collars) to large intricate RP devices (CourtRoom, Classroom, Office Furniture). Additionally we have RLV beds, a line of Gorean RP items and now RLV Skyboxes (4 different ones with more to come). Every product is custom written and contain features and functions that are not found in any other comparable device on the market.

In late 2012 *GEL* moved to a full sim...and friends followed. The *GEL* family now sits in a full sim containing two clubs, a community dungeon, park, and several small residential rental parcels.

Service is our business; and I'm well aware of the trust you place and the value of your Lindens. To that end in 2013 we'll be introducing a ticketing system as well as a group minder that will allow you to receive regular web-based updates on *GEL* products and promotions (emphasis on OPT IN only!!!)
